Beautiful, modern, chic, comfortable... (liliana, NY, 49 years old)
As the previous reviews reads these boots do run small in size, I was able to try them at my local Macy's store. I normally wear size 8 but went 1/2 size up, and they fit perfect. Although there is little arch support, and the whiskey color only come in leather and the Black boots only come in suede!
I went out to shop for funiture today. It was cold out so I decided to wear the boots comfy, cute, stylish too. This boots is a nice color and perfect fit, I am sure the boots will look nice with my jeans.
Love these boots. Great quality & very comfortable.
I was really excited to see that these boots came in an 11, but unfortunately, they were VERY tight. Fit was more like a 9.5/10, SO definitely size up. Footbed was comfortable, and there was moderate arch support, but my toes were super squeezed so they had to go back!
I bought the Whiskey leather boots in the store, so didn't experience the suede/leather mixup as other reviewers did. They are similar in style as Frye boots - good quality. The first time I wore them they were slightly uncomfortable, but they break in quickly. Great boot - have gotten lots of compliments.
I'm not sure why all the bad comments I love these boots and I have wide calves. They just need a little stretching is all mainly in the toe front. I put a few hiking socks in them for a few days and now they feel great. And yes I can wear them with jeans and they're not too tight!
Love these boots, they're super cute but do need to be broken in very snug/tight at first. I shoved a few thick hiking socks in the front of the boot for a few days and they're good to go now. I have wide calves and didn't have any issues wearing them over my jeans. Lucky Brand always has the best quality boots, I'm never disappointed.
