Purchased these for my husband. I was drawn to them as they are different than the metal ones. Price was inline for these. Some may think that they are too much but Macy's has to make a profit and they are in reach for many. They are a nice size the will look great. He will like these probably better that the SS or SS clad ones I purchased, It is too bad they don't have or offer a matching tie clip.

Having had only nieces graduate from high school thus far (7x), it was a struggle to figure out a long-term gift for the first of my 5 nephews. All of the girls received pearls that fit their personalities but boys are a different matter. These cufflinks will work for college events, job interviews, weddings, etc. My hope is that they will remain with my nephew for years to come. I went to several stores searching for the perfect cufflinks but left each one unimpressed with the options. The wood is interesting but not flashy or crass.
