I wanted to like this brush. I don't use it too often and now it's shedding a lot when I clean it. I'm disappointed with this.
I really like this brush. It applies my powder bronzer so evenly and smoothly. It's easy to use to blend, too!! Highly recommend.
This brush was a waste of money right from the beginning. The bristles are hard and shed all over my face. After using it I have to pick several pieces of bristles off my face. It has completely lost its shape and does not clean well. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I've been using it for 3 years now. It works just as new. If never had hair falling nor any damage. It applies the contours/bronzers/blushes/powders so well on skin and it's perfect for all skins types. I mostly apply my setting powder and powder with it.
Awesome brush, just not worth the price for the poor quality. The brush does well when washed and dried fairly easily. When washed and dried expect this brush to loose its shape quickly as well as leaving you stray pieces.
Not happy with this brush at all, everytime I use it it sheds too many bristles all over my face and counter. I love all my other MAC brushes, but this one is the worst, I even have the older no synthetic version made in Japan and it is now missing a big chunk of it (see attached photo). I really hope MAC creates a better quality blush brush!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great brush for travel or in a makeup day bag. It comes in a thick plastic envelope with a sliding lock, but I don't use that. I added it to my small travel brush bag/container. It's well-made, most likely by Hakuhodo, as it's made in Japan, and has the signs of being Hakuhodo in craftsmanship. The bristles are synthetic, pick up powder well without fall-out, and can be used for either a small power brush that is small enough to spread the powder under the eyes as well, or it can be an ample blush brush or bronzer on-the-go.
I was excited about this brush and wanted to like it but after two months the bristles are still scratchy at the ends. It feels very stiff against my skin. The brush wasn't extremely soft when I first got it and I thought some usage would soften it and solve the issue. Unfortunately it's still scratchy. Not sure if I got a defective one.
