Not happy at all with the color. It's pictured as a pink on the website but in real life it's a brownish color. I wouldn't be surprised if the photo was altered to sell the product. Terrible first experience.
This is a lovely subtle cool tone nude for a fair skin. It's exactly what I've been looking for shade wise, but I have to admit that I prefer matte - as I don't like to have to keep applying lipstick. However, I couldn't possibly mark this lipstick down for that reason, as this is a lovely formula for the type of lipstick it is.
Another staple in my makeup collection that MAC has discontinued. If these are categorized as "best sellers," why eliminate them? Especially when they've been a part of your line for over a decade, even longer. There is no comparable lipstick to the color options, texture, pigment, or longevity. So many items have either been modified or eliminated, that at this point, I'm down to only repurchasing 3 items every so often.
Recently purchased Patisserie and on my skin tone it comes off as a glossy peach-pink. I have to apply a few layers for more opacity and there is a subtle sparkle in it. Overall, I like the glossy effect it gave my lips but after 3 hours, it was a bit drying.
