I was surprised to see how large the decorative rim was on this plate. The useable surface is much too small for a dinner plate. The edge is well raised and wider, making the useable surface less than 6 inches in diameter. If you are looking to cut your portion size substantially, than you may love this plate!

Received these dishes yesterday. The quality is awful. Black spots rising from under white glaze. They don't look anything like the photo on website. Macy's refunded purchase price no problem but would highly not recommend these.

Was nervous the scalloped details would chip, but they have been very durable. I love how they can intermingle with the other designs by Maison Versailles
