Usually the problem for me is that boots claim to be wide and they're not really. I bought online and took a chance and was happily surprised. I have huge calves; 18" to 18 1/2", so finding knee high boots have been extremely difficult. This boot fits perfectly over leggings and are comfortable. They are very cute also:) If you have smaller calves, this will be wide surely, but if like me you have wide calves and were feeling left out in the boot department, try this one!
I was very skeptical about my purchase because not all wide calf boots are the ssme. Very true to size and easily zipped up! Great quality also.
I received these boots and immediately put it on and was very disappointed. The calf was way too BIG! Will be returning them. If you have a 15 1/2 calves like mine, do not waste your time and money.
OK so I don't know if the boot industry just stinks this year or what is going on, but I have had the absolute worst luck in finding anything that is nice, fits well, and comfortable. Apparently I have these super wide calves that fit in nothing (I swear they look normal sized, but boots nowadays disagree with me!). With that being said, I was complaining to a friend that I've already ordered and returned over 6 boots this year from various stores, when she suggested Marc Fisher boots and oh my I am so happy she did! The fit my calves, still have space (which has been impossible), they are soft, VERY comfortable, and adorable! I would recommend these boots to any woman that has been having a hard time with the wide calf - they're awesome!
I found these to the most flattering and comfortable boot for a wide calf! Very stylish and not overly done with the metal detail. One of my better boot purchases in a long time!
I have muscular calves so I ordered both the regular and wide calf. These were very wide in the calf and the regular worked fine, even over skinny jeans, so I will be returning these. Overall though, I loved the color and style.
I purchased this shoe because Ive bought riding boots in the past from Marc Fisher. This boot is good for the width aspect in the leg but the foot itself is narrow and tight. I wore them so i didnt return to the store, I even gave it a second try and it was just as bad as wearing them the first time very uncomfortable. I would not reccomend.
I have 15" circumference calves and they seemed to be swimming in these wide calf boots. They're lovely, but they're going back. For reference, I wear a size 6.5. Also, keep in mind that the boots have gusseting so there's room for stretch.
