These sheets are so wrinkled when they come out of the dryer! I purchased several sets for Christmas presents and was embarrassed I gave them for gifts. Very poor quality

Horrible sheets. If you are looking for crisp sheets, dont bother with these. They are thin and lifeless. Rip-off.

Long time percale sheet user - not a fan of these
December 25, 2017
I'm a big fan of percale sheets and have used only those for all beds in our home for over 30 years, ranging in thread counts from 240 to 525 over the years for the wonderful crisp-cool qualities percale has and as a fabric that actually gets better over time, laundering after laundering. . Anything above 400 TC is typically a sateen weave these days with the direction of consumer patterns to prefer the "silky-smooth" of sateen over the crisp of percale. But some companies are still producing high TC percale, which also is typically at a very high price point (as example, Peacock Alley's 525 percale.) Macy's used to have a lovely 465TC percale in the Hotel collection which, alas, they discontinued last year. So in my search for higher TC percale, I bought these at Macy's. Although they have some good qualities, I regret the purchase because of the uber-wrinkling. Percale is a crispier sheet on the bed and it is also more prone to wrinkles out of the dryer. As a 'veteran' of decades of using percale, I thought I knew all the tricks and techniques to minimize wrinkling. Including, washing and drying the bottom sheet separate from the top. Alas, none of the techniques worked here for the Cal-King bottom and I ended up, honest to goodness, needing to IRON that bottom sheet. It was that badly wrinkled. Although the good news is these are 400 TC, pretty comfy to sleep on once on the bed, they come in the hard to find Cal-King size I needed for guest bed, the Snowy Owl is a nice soft-white color, and the stitch pattern at the top sheet is classy-tailored looking, I wouldn't buy them again as it looks as if the bottom sheet will need ironing each time so as not to embarrass myself with guests using the bed.
