i bought these when they were first in stores and im so glad i did. i use them all the time for dinners and parties. i make soups, dips and caseroles in them and people love it. they think its sooo cute. and compared to other prices of single serving size cast iron dishes, these are practically a steal.

The size I was looking for

This product came to fit the European portions that I like to offer when I have friends for dinner. The presentation, the elegance and the appropriate size for onion soup, pommes au gratin, chowders, cassoulet were admired by my invitées at my New Eve´s party.

    Cute, but...

I wanted to get these for my mother, to use to cook single portions! The color and shape are beautiful! However, I found them to be just a bit too small, and very heavy for their size! They appear to be only big enough to hold about 1/2 cup - only big enough for a small side dish, but not enough for a dinner size portion.

These cassarole's are really cute, food bakes evenly in them and they make a good presentation for your dinner! If you're "all about presentation" then these are a "good thing".

    Wonderful.....as usual!

I bought 10 of these and love them. They are PERFECT for an elegant cassoulet or a rich side dish. I have also used them to re-heat potato dishes or other 'sides'. They make a wonderful presentation....I use them with very causal china as well as with more formal settings and they are visually pleasing with either.

    Too small for anything!

This product should not be sold as an adult cookware. It's too tiny to cook anything in it; not even a cup of soup for one person will fit. I'm very disappointed with this product by Martha Stewart. It's a toy for a child.
