You should only ever use a Polypropelene cutting board. If your knives are dull, go get them professionally sharpened (at Ace Hardware, for example) and then use a HONING tool regularly to keep the sharpness. With these steps and a Poly board, you will always have sharp knives! You're welcome ;)
This was in my wedding registry. As I've heard that wood cutting boards are not so good (cause you end up chopping the wood and eating it) and glass cutting boards are way to dangerous when kids are around, I decided to register for this cutting board. The good: -This cutting board stands still, it doesn't move or rock. -The food doesn't slide to the sides when you're cutting. -It is light weighted -The handle is so helpful The bad: -Watch out those sharp knives, they'll scratch the board and it won't look pretty anymore -As it scratches the board... guess where the polyethylene goes? yeap! right in with your food. My suggestion: a chopping mat is way more useful!
I had been looking for just the right cutting board, and I found it. It does not slip or slide and cleans up quick and easy.
this is a very handy sized cutting board that i end up picking over my bigger and smaller boards. love the rubber, grippy bottom! the color is bright and fun too. can't beat martha stewart in the kitchen!!
I have granite counters and the board hasn't gripped properly since being run through the dishwasher. It is visibly warped. I have to resort to placing a dishtowel underneath it to keep it steady.
This board never sat level from the get go. I have natural stone counter tops and the grips on the bottom have never stuck. I will never get another one.
Good quality, love the color, grips work well. Just a little small.
I'm surprised by the high quality of this product. This is a good deal!
