    Every Day Use
    May 15, 2011

My daughter asked for this pot for Christmas. She uses it almost every day and it is in great condition. I might buy one for myself.

    Rust-fest
    Mar 05, 2011

Have had the pot for less than three months and it is rusting. Had a much cheaper/thinner pot for over fifteen years and no rust. I agree that Martha would also not be pleased to hear these reviews. The search continues...

    Disapointed

I love this pot....but the rust is not loved at all. I didnt know I would see rust at all, even after the first use. I will be returning the pot. I dont think Martha would like it either. I will search until I find one that wont rust.

Brand new pot is full of brown spots/rust
    Feb 05, 2011

Just purchased this pot in the store. The bottom and sides are full of brown spots (aka rust spots.) Very poor quality control. Not sure how this pot made it out of the factory. Will be returning asap.

    Great Pot
    Oct 24, 2010

I have had this pot for almost almost a year now - it is my go to pot. Like any stainless steel pot / pan, it cleans easily but you must take care of it - no soaking overnight! I love that in this pot there is a gasket in the glass lid to prevent water from getting between metal edge and glass.

    The truth about "Stainless" Steel
    Dec 12, 2009

Folks, when we're talking "stainless" steel, we are not talking "stain proof" steel. The steel that makes this pot has a high carbon content. If you hand wash this pot and leave it to air dry, you will see small spots of rust. If you dry it immediately, these spots will be fewer. The spots of rust are also easily removed with a little Comet or, if you are wary of scratching, Soft Scrub with bleach. You take care of this pot the same way you take care of good knives.

    no problems with this pot

I wish the spaghetti strainer went deeper into the pot. But other than that, I love it. Dented easily though.
