I honestly don't know how I went so long without a zester. I've experienced both hits and misses with Martha Stewart products, but this microplane is great quality and an absolute necessity in my kitchen. I use it for zesting citruses like lemons and oranges, but more frequently I use it for finely grating cheeses. It's replaced my Olive Garden-esque rotary grater for smothering parmigiano reggiano on top of everything. There's something majestic about watching delicate slivers of cheese fall upon pasta or salads like snow upon a winter wonderland. I am in love. Sometimes I'll even use it to very finely grate ginger or garlic. It's an all around super tool and I definitely recommend!

Love this zester from microplane. Usually this is a bit more expensive in most other stores, but got it here at a great price. It works great with citrus and ginger. Just keep in mind that it is a bit a long, so might be inconvenient for some to store.
