I love the leak guard!!! My old Pan didn't have this and sometimes it leaked through.

The pan came apart while I was taking it out of the oven.

I know, I know: even "leakproof" springforms will leak. But I just want to put the caution out there. I nearly ruined a cheesecake the first time I used it (though that was mainly operator-error, and thankfully I know enough to know how to save them!) Other than that it's quite a nice little pan. Nice thick sides, springs off very easily. I would suggest removing cheesecakes from the base before cutting, or putting down a sheet of parchment/thin cardboard first-- the enamel scratches quite easily.

I borrowed one from my sister-in-law but was not happy with the performance. My new Martha Stewart is awesome! Light weight, easy assembly & easy to clean. Money well spent!!
