I purchased this spiralizer for a Christmas gift. Tried it the other night with zucchini. Worked well. Then tried carrots without much luck. There are no directions in the box, only on the box. No suggestions how to use this properly. Still deciding if we should keep it. Liked the suction cups to hold in place.
This works great. I have used several blades on many different veggies. It is stable with the suction feet and I really enjoy using it. My only complaint is that it could be easier to clean. I suggest covering the base with plastic wrap you can throw away. The juices from the veggies pours down the plastic sides and gets caught in various seams and it gets tricky to clean it. I usually just hose it off in the sink, but then you have to remove all of the extra blades or they fall out. Its doable, but too bad the body isn't dishwasher safe and then you could just hand wash the blade you use. Otherwise, I nice and inexpensive spiralizer
Have you tried spiralling zucchini? It surprised me how much I like eating them instead of noodles but also because they are little or no calories. And you would never know the difference. Zoodles take about a minute to cook. And voila they are ready. This is just one idea. There are tons of ideas. Enjoy! One caveat. Everytime i have used this spiralling maker, the device doesn't stand by itself. This is a two person job.
Does what's supposed to do cheap plastic glad didn't pay full price
Couldn't be happier with this. Love me some zucchini spaghetti!!
It is a good spiralizer, gets it done pretty fast, but it needs to get adjusted to. I can't say it is very convenient to use, but it produces those perfect vegetable spirals, I get to like it more as I get used to it.
New food obsession...zoodles! This handy dandy device makes zoodles in a flash! Yes it's a bit bulky, but that's a small concession to make. I was able to spiralize 3 zucchini in less than 2 minutes; way faster than cooking flour pasta and so much healthier, too. Cleaning was also easy. Just rinse with warm, soapy water. I haven't tried using this with any other veggies, but worth the price (and storage space) if I only ever use it for making zoodles.
I love my new spiralizer. So far I have made zucchini spaghetti and spiraled potatoes with it. It is so much fun and the quality is good. There are suction cups on the bottom so I don't have to worry about it moving. It is very easy to use and clean.
