Not terrible... but I didn't care for the tan coloring- looked cheap. Fit was fine, and I liked the height and style, just not the quality for the price.
I have been searching for MONTHS for boots that were a size 6 or 6.5, with no elastic, that would fit my 15" calf, and these did! I do not think they look cheap at all, and mine have what others are calling "color blotches" as well, but they, as another reviewer put it, just add character. I bought mine in store, not online, and they have green material surrounding the zipper rather than brown as shown in the picture. I love them and can't wait to wear them out and about.
Bought these boots because my college daughter requested these instead of a more expensive real leather steve madden boot(I saved money). Luggage color looks leather but it isn't. Actually pleather boots far better than real leather in Chicago(no snow, salt erosion/fading and scuff marks). With pleather boots you rinse away the elements and they retain color and shine. Boot shaft is SHORTER but ok for 5'1". Heel and traction good.
I will look like a really cool teacher in these high boots! These boots were made for walking, and that's just what I'll do.
Purchased these boots despite negative reviews. Have enjoyed wearing them-very comfortable. Very affordable. Love the look. True to size. Roomy, legs have room to breathe.
While this boot is overpriced for being man made it looked very nice. Very poor craftsmanship, the fist pair I bought the zipper broke. Macy's was very helpful with shipping me another pair, but that zipper also broke. I won't try again!
I ordered these boots for my mom without her trying them on and she says they are so comfortable and are true to size.
These boots delievered to my house Wednesday, December 5th. I took them out of the box and tried them on that day. I walked to the mirror to see how they looked and noticed the zipper had separated just above the ankle and was gaping open. I didn't squeeze into these boots, I don't have large calves. They fit quite nicely. I was barely able to get them off because the zipper was stuck. I managed to get my foot out of them and get the zipper moving up and down, but I'm not taking a chance of the zipper separating when I'm wearing them out in public. They're going back to the store.
