My fav MK handbag

I absolutely love this purse!! I have owned this bag since January and have not experienced the fading as described in other reviews. I have the Nickel handbag and would love to have it in Gold and Cocoa also. Very trendy and I receive many compliments on how beautiful it is.

BAD PURCHASE,TWICE

I purchased the 1st bag in the nickel color online(Macys.com) in April, 2012,carried it for 1wk, basically, to my car, sat it on the back seat, then back in the house. The bag faded and cracked. I exchanged the bag @ Macys department store in Stockbridge, Ga, the sale assco. explain about a bad batch that maybe the online store still had some,she exchanged it for the rose color. I didnt carry the bag til this past wknd, (Fathers Day) and the paint came right off of it. I just returned the bag yesterday, @ a local Macys here in Columbus,Ga and recieved an refund by an very understanding assoc. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THIS BAG!!!!! Very disappointing.......

great concept,bad product

I was so hopeful when I purchased this purse, but alas I was wrong. I had read all the reviews regarding this purse's issue (fading, cracking, etc.), BUT I had also read that Michael Kors had corrected the problem and the new product was supposed to be out around March or April. I purchased the gold purse in May and 3 weeks later I noticed fading. I guess it is my fault for being optimistic. But I am confused about something. Is it that the new batch of purses are defective too, or is it that Macys is continuing to sell purses that are obviously defective. Either way it is very disappointing.
