When I ordered these boots for my 15 1/2 inch calves, I expected to maybe wear them with tights...if they would actually fit around my calves. To my surprise, not only did they fit, I could actually wear them with jeans tucked in!!! The boots are comfortable and look expensive. After falling in love with the black ones, I decided to order the brown ones but unfortunately, they no longer had my size. :-( I really hope that these boots are carried next year.
True Wide Calf
These boots are great!! I have really wide calfs and these zip up with skinny jeans on without a problem. I have tried on boots that claim to be wide calf before and they wouldn't even zip halfway up. These are the real deal. They are also very comfortable and very nice looking. Well worth the price. I got the winter honey and they are a beautiful caramel color. Wish they still had them in my size in black!

Nice looking but I couldn't zip them up, so I would hardly consider them wide calf boots.
LOVE MY BOOTS
I love the look of these boots. I ordered them in black and am so happy with them that I am thinking about ordering another pair in the winter honey. They fit so well. I usually wear between a 7 and a 7 1/2 but I ordered these in an 8 so I can wear socks with them and it worked out great. The boots are expensive-looking and good quality. With the buckles and the riding boot style they are not too dressy but they can definitely be worn with a dress or dressier clothes. Jeans tucked in them would be really cute I think. Also the wide calves are as promised. I have tried on boot after boot in stores and either barely been able to zip them up or not been able to zip them at all because of a large gap. It was really getting frustrating. I began to think I just wasn't going to be able to wear tall boots. I did not realize or stop to think that some boots are actually made in wide calf. This is a life-saver for me! I am so glad I searched online and found these at Macy's. I haven't actually worn my boots yet so I can't speak for the comfort of them but I have tried them on and worn them around the house and they seem VERY comfortable and fit well. They are so VERY easy to get on and off with the full zipper. They seemed a little pricey to me but you do get what you pay for with these and actually they are relatively reasonable when you consider the high costs of some others out there. A lot of the name brands like Lucky and Frye are much more expensive and these look as good as the Lucky boots. They are not quite up to the Frye boots - but for half the cost - who cares! I was skeptical about ordering boots online because of fit but I had tried on another style of Nine West boots in a local store in an 8 and they fit fine so I figured these would too and they did! I couldn't be much happier with these boots. You should order them. Do order them close to your regular size unless, like me, you want to wear a thicker sock with them and then you might do as I did and order a half a size up. As another reviewer said think the Lucky brand when trying to picture how these boots look. I am looking so forward to wearing mine tomorrow. I am just so happy to have found boots that look this awesome and actually fit and zip up with ease that I will probably HAVE to order the winter honey also. I wanted to order them in the dark brown but they are sold out apparently - at least on Macy's site.

I purchased these boots based on all the great reviews I read, and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed! After trying hundreds of different styles trying to find something that I would be able to zip up over jeans... these are perfect! Super cute and comfortable.

I was amazed that these fit as well as they did--my feet are on the wide side. The calves are a bit bigger than I expected but with jeans inside they're perfect. Very soft leather, good fit--I've been getting compliments on them.
