Love these dishes. I wish I could afford to buy more.

    Beautiful bowls, BUT . . .
    Nov 11, 2016

. . . when I poured hot soup into one of them today the bowl started making cracking sounds. Turns out a crack had appeared around the circumference, about an inch from the bottom. I assume the bottoms and sides are made separately and then molded together. and that's where the fault was. The bowls are an unusual size (24 oz) and shape that is perfect for soups, stews, chile, and even a large serving of cereal or use as a small serving bowl, but they may have an achilles heel in the manufacturing technique.
