I couldn’t wait to try Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins. I guess this is the “old” formula that DOES contain oil. So this one’s for all you angry people who hate the oil-free version. So I applied this lightly, two nights in a row, on my mostly dry, aging skin (54.) It felt nice going on my face, fairly heavy and very emollient as I’d expect any good night cream to be. I did use OleHenrikson’s Truth Serum, loaded with Vitamin C, beforehand, as I always do before moisturizing. Well, I woke up the first morning with a greasy face. And I woke up this morning, Day 2, with a greasy face and...three clustered areas of breakouts! I haven’t had pimples or acne in 15 years, but the OIL version of this cream really sent my skin backwards in time. And not in a good way. Another ‘miracle’ product bites the dust.
I love this moisturizer! I have recently realized that the key to clear skin is keeping my face moisturized and hydrated. As stated in the title, I really do look forward to washing my face and putting this on before going to sleep. My skin feels noticeably more smooth and radiant after using this. Highly recommend if you're looking for a night time moisturizer!!!!
This is a very good option to start taking care of the skin of aging and wrinkles It is NOT oil free! so it is not recommended for people with acne prone like me,but there is a version oil free that i will get very soon!
I like all the origins products and i am a regular user of checks and balance face wash. I wanted to get something for my night time since i have too much of dryness on my skin when i wake up. So got this from Ulta yesterday and applied it yesterday night. Today morning i see few red bumps on my forehead and cheeks. I am not sure whether this is because of this cream. But after reading the reviews i think i need to change it.
I have combination skin and I really wanted a good night cream. This has worked wonders for me thus far. My dark spots on my cheeks have faded and my skin is smoother. The scent is also an added bonus.
I used to get this several years ago. It was a nice, light gel-like cream (like Clinique Moisture Surge). It worked well. I got it again recently and was disappointed. It is a thick, greasy, almost waxy consistency. It may be good for night, but I can't stand products that make me feel like my face/skin can't breathe. This Night-a-mins formula feels like I am wearing a mask. It will soak in but I hate it. Will never buy this again unless they come back with the lighter formula (similar to Clinique Moisture Surge).
I decided to try this product out because my skin got pretty dry in the winter months. I've only been using it for a few days, but so far so great! I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. My skin doesn't like anything. I was hesitant to try it because it had fragrance, but this doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. I'm so pleasantly surprised about that/it makes me love this product even more. I usually break out with intense creams, but was desperate for moisture and I'm happy I tried this one. I'm surprised to read a few reviews saying it irritated their skin since mine is perfectly fine with this somehow. I guess everyone's skin is very different. If you have sensitive skin and are looking for a good face cream that makes your skin feel/look great, I think you should try this. Oh, and I love the smell. It smells like those creamsicle popsicles hahah.
This made a difference to my extremely dry skin. I tried using it every night for a few months, and my skin is no longer dry like it used to be. I got this as a gift set and really enjoyed using it. I now apply it every other night and it works amazing. I use it after night-a-mins serum, after cleaning my face with a mild soapy cleanser, and my skin feels great the next morning. I really want to try more moisturizers from origins. Also, a little goes a long way. I still have more than 2/3rds of the bottle left!
