I bought the gold frame with brown lenses on 7/4 and they were broken by 9/16. The frame around the nose broke off from the main frame while I was simply cleaning off the lenses. I filed a claim with Ray Ban so I could send them back and have them fix them (a simple soldering/welding) back together, but they declined my claim and said “Upon evaluation of your claim, we have determined that the issue was not due to defective material or workmanship. Unfortunately, repair of your damaged eyewear is not an option as this model and its replacement parts are unavailable.” I have no idea what they mean about replacement parts and model not being available (since it doesn’t need a part, but to be welded) - I’m literally looking at them here on Macys.com and ray-ban.com Ray Ban has gotten CHEAP!!! I bought the same pair in a different color 2-3 years ago and I never had a problem with them - I’d still have them if the lake hadn’t taken them from me. Ray Ban has lost a customer.

This classic aviator will never go out of style. Universal in style, great for anyone. Love the brand.
