    Poor base and slat support

    We've had this king-sized frame for approximately 2 years and I do not recommend this product mainly due to the stability of the frame/wood slats which is VERY weak. I had to add 2x4's and 1/2" thick wood board on top of the frame due to the sunk feel. We tried this with 2 mattresses and it's definitely not our weight since we're 150lbs and lighter.

    Not the most sturdy frame

    My Ruff Hewn frame broke in July, after a little over two years. The entire right side of the slacks broke (as well as the mid-column). Since having the bed, I've noticed that the legs in the mid-column loosen over time and chronically have to be tightened. I love the look of the frame and the size of the drawers, but it definitely lacks in the sturdiness department.
