Lights Don't Work

i was so excited to get this tree. After opening the box it looks nothing like the picture, and I was willing to accept that. Greener and tiny i figured i could still love it and couldnt wsit to light it up and shape it. Lights don't work! i tried a million ways to tighten the connection yet nothing. Very disappointing. Just glad i didn't wait until i needed it next year.
