Shark Bitten

This is the 2nd shark genius steam mop I owned. And both of them after less than a year quit producing steam. I called Shark directly, they sent me a replacement head..but still not working. I will definitely not buy this again. Fool me twice shame on me. Don't waste your money

Cleans up well

I love this steam mop for my floors. It works well with Bona to clan my hardwoods floors well

I used it less than a month, and it broke from the tube. In the store they didn't want to accept the return of the product.

Shark Genius Mop

The steam element works well & the unit is easy to put together & easy to use. It is a healthy benefit to not have to use chemicals to clean your floors. It is also a bonus that this product can be used on laminate/tile floors. WARNING: If you have sealed shiney hardwood floors & would like to maintain the shine, DO NOT USE this product as it will definitely remove the shine which is what happened on my floors. The company mentions this near the last pages of the owners manual but it should have been in bold red letters on the front pages and on the box as the marketing of this product seems misleading. Best to test a very small unnoticeable area on your floors to view the outcome before using all over your floors. The company recommends this also but again this too should be in bold red letters. Also, I’m not a fan of washing & reusing the mop, I prefer disposable even tho it’s environmentally friendly. Also, there’s no power button, plug & unplug to turn on or off, not a good thing.

QUICK, EASY & CLEAN

We’ve shared one of these with the family and decided it’s much easier to have our own v. having to arrange visitation! :D Great steam mop, easy to fill and change the pads and throw them in the washing machine to clean up for the next use! No streaking on the flooring either which is a huge benefit.

My steam cleaner has stopped working!

I hardly used this cleaner but tried to clean my wooden floor this afternoon and it's making the loudest weirdest noise ever, minus steam. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
