First introduced in 1816, Spode's Blue Italian dinnerware and dishes collection has graced countless tabletops with its quaint country scene and traditional Imari Oriental border in classic blue and white.
The blue decor came off after just a couple of washes. And I had washed them:(
Classic design...
Lovely spice jars to look at but impractical for everyday cooks like me. I thought they will be larger than what I got. Also the lids are not air tight.
Love. Great size and beautiful.
I haven't owned these too very long and one of them is already starting to peel. They have been treated with care, and are only used twice daily, if that. I don't know what I'm going to do with just three of them at a table that seats four.
I thought these would be as stunning in person… negative. They look like I purchased them from a thrift store. Not as Italian as I would have liked. Macy’s did a terrific job packing them but sadly, not my style. Returned.
The photo is a bit deceiving, It's really a small piece. However, it is still excellent for using for holding cookies or small cakes while snacking and watching TV. I own the entire collection. We set up a Bed and Bath in the Master Bedroom ... in the early morning it's quite nice to have it next to your bedside for toast or your favor morning treat with favorite beverage. They are definitely quality. The print in blue is vivid. If you watch the old Western's you'll see a design similar to this. In fact I've seen this design in many TCM. I trust this information will be helpful in making your selection. T.1-25-22 NJT 8:41 PM
