We bought this bed at the beginning of August. So it's almost been 2 mths. It's firm yet comfortable (not too hard or soft), like a great quality bed at a hotel. I use to look forward to go on vacation to escape my bed. Now I have the comfort sleep at home too. We had a great salesman, Mr. David Sanchez of Elmhurst, NY help us and genuinely recommended this bed and we're very grateful. It's a great quality bed which we foresee long lasting. Definitely recommend!!

Delivery was excellent! They even vacuumed for me! Very happy with my decision and very happy I chose Macy's for my purchase!

We purchased this mattress in November and in less than four weeks it had indentations of 3/4 inches on both sides of the mattress. We returned it and purchased the Beautyrest Black Reyna. My back was much happier and we've been sleeping soundly. I highly recommend the Beautyrest! John at Lakeline provided exceptional customer service. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Ask for John!
Inconsistent quality control- disappointing!

I was thrilled to buy a mattress set made in my home state of Texas & never before tried Stearns & Foster. The Garrick luxury cushion firm Euro pillow-top we tried at Dallas Macy's Galleria was awesome! The top was firm foam, not squishy & too soft.
The delivery day in late April had rain forecasted. The delivery team removed my existing set first, then brought in the new set. The new King set was enclosed in plastic, so I assumed it was checked before it left the factory. The delivery team left quickly to move on to other deliveries before the rain.
As I inspected my new high end Stearns & Foster Garrick, I saw lots of long threads from the circular "tufting" on top that had not been trimmed in QC. Not a big deal for me to trim those. Then I saw multiple places where the thread going from one circular tuft to another was still connected- again, I could trim that myself. Not enough for a deal-breaker until I saw an entire circular tuft near the edge that was puckered thread, standing about a 1/2" up from the mattress.
I called Customer Service & they were great. We should use this mattress until they could schedule a replacement the following week. That was the most comfortable mattress I ever slept on!
The next week brought the replacement mattress, which was labeled as the same exact model. It also had long threads needing trimming, and thread connecting the circles which needed trimming & uh oh! They missed the top corner stitching of the pillow-top! NO WAY! This company actually has labels on each mattress with the FULL NAME of the "Master Craftsman" for that mattress & they still don't have adequate QC. I would expect this in a cheap mattress, not a high end model...
Since I made the delivery team wait for my inspection this time, he saw the flaws & notated his record for Macy's we'd need another replacement. I told him upfront, since Stearns & Foster has a quality control issue, we'd be selecting a different brand for our replacement!
Until we had a chance to go back to Macy's to choose a different brand, we'd have the 2nd mattress. I do NOT care what label they put on this 2nd mattress- it was NOT the same model! My husband and I both said this was MUCH softer & did not support us well. Until we chose to try a Beautyrest Black, I woke every morning with my back hurting from this 2nd mattress.
So, Sealy, who makes Stearns & Foster, YOU have a problem!
