These pans are not metal utensil safe. The smaller pan developed tiny pinpoint bumps underneath the bottom of entire cooking surface area in a short time, not smooth like non-stick is supposed to feel plus a few scratches. Cooking at medium or lower heat like directions inform, with small teaspoons or tablespoons that cannot scratch. The larger pan has a few scratches and both pans had the inside screws black paint come off the round smooth top of screws holding each handle in place. These pans cannot even possibly be close to T-Fal worthy.

These frying pans are so easy to use for healthy cooking! The heat indicator is very helpful for tellingly if the pan is hot enough for cooking.

I have been using the 5-qt T-fal pan for 3 years. It is wonderful and I love that you can use metal utensils - like a whisk - when making gravies and sauces. So when I neede new frying pans I bought these. They are substantial, heat nicely and cook fod very evenly. Go T-Fal!
