Looks great but unwearable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my 5th pair of shoes from Taft, I have loved every one of them except for this pair. Visually, they look beautiful, however the form factor is completely different than any other shoe I've worn. I originally ordered a 10 as I have with every other pair of Taft's but these shoes ran an entire size larger. Thankfully support was kind enough to replace these with a size smaller, even then the shoe is very uncomfortable. The material is extremely stiff and the "tongue" pushes/cuts into my leg/foot joint and hurts. The heel of the shoe is also very weird, it doesn't curve on the inside an is more of a vertical wall, and coupled with the rigidity of the shoe, makes my heel constantly slip out even after sizing down and overall is just painful to walk in with having to press my toes down to keep the heel in place as much as possible. After my third day of trying to break them in I don't think I can wear them any longer, it's just too painful and uncomfortable. Sadly these will have to be just an ornament, I wouldn't want to burden someone with these to even give them away for free.

Nice looking BUT its stiff and hurt my feet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe left me with burses on my feet and its very not flexible. I had to put it in the nice cloth bag and hide it with one time use only. It was waste of money. Also it runs big.

solid boots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] mixed feelings. bought these. good thing is the craftmanship is good. Bad thing is that the shoe wears a little stiff on top at first; but the main thing is that the sole is very heavy. Like Timberland boot heavy. Which may be a good thing for some people, but not for a walker like me. The other shoes with the same white sole are the same thing; good quality but the sole is just very heavy. Finally, the straps can be annoying to tie up sometimes, but that is because I am clumsy, not because of Taft
