Guest of wedding dress

The gown is a navy and silver metallic material that has a lovely flared hem and is very comfortable in weight. I am 5'2" and and ordered a size 12. The fit of the dress was very good, but the length was way too long. I would have had to hem it at least 8 inches which means the flounce hemline would have be cut off and probably would have cost me a small fortune for the seamstress to hem.
