If you could steal things from dreams, what would you take? Ronan Lynch has secrets. Some he keeps from others. Some he keeps from himself. One secret: Ronan can bring things out of his dreams. And sometimes he's not the only one who wants those things. Ronan is one of the raven boys - a group of friends, practically brothers, searching for a dead king named Glendower, who they think is hidden somewhere in the hills by their elite private school, Aglionby Academy. The path to Glendower has long lived as an undercurrent beneath town. But now, like Ronan's secrets, it is beginning to rise to the surface - changing everything in its wake. Of THE RAVEN BOYS, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY wrote, "Maggie Stiefvater's can't-put-it-down paranormal adventure will leave you clamoring for book two." Now the second book is here, with the same wild imagination, dark romance, and heart-stopping twists that only Maggie Stiefvater can conjure.

Epic

The writing in this is epic. So smart! The universe just unfolds with all its infinite possibilities. The characters become increasingly lovable, especially the ones hard to love. And don't get me started on the plot twists!!!! The story isn't finished, there's definitely an open ending so be sure to know you'll absolutely need book 3 (Blue Lily, Lily Blue) after you finish this one. I can't wait to continue the adventure!

Romance, fantasy, magic, clairvoyance

This book has a slower build than the first book in the series, Raven Boys, but once I hit the midway point I couldn't put it down. Coming of age, romance, fantasy, magic, clairvoyance, what's not to love? Well written with great characters. Highly recommended

How does Maggie do this?!

Fearing disappointment after I fell in love with the first book, I took a breath and started reading this. Disappointment who? I literally loved this more than the last one! Maggie has got a way in writing her characters that you won’t find it hard relating to some, loving some, or hating some. There are also some interesting new characters that made the story even more compelling. Long story short, read The Raven Cycle and you won’t regret a thing at all.
