Its an amazing book with great features

I got this book about an month ago and it was the best idea I had in awhile, The book maze runner that follows the story of a group of teenage boys who are trapped in a huge maze who randomly wakes up and doesn’t remember their past life’s and haves to find a way out on their own or they will eventually be hurt or worse. The book maze runner may start off quiet and slow. But after a little while you will be off your seats with feelings lol excitement, nervousness, scared. When I first got this book mainly off the movie having a huge background of a novel I had to read the book. So i got it and it was a great book. Most people dont like books being boring or overall not a fun book. But maze runner is a whole different story. As i said in the beginning that it’s a group of teens having to escape this maze. It’s not some regular maze it’s a maze infested with these spider/Scorpion like creatures that are huge well over 15+ feet. They can climb on walls and they can smell you. So these group of teens have to escape knowing something is chasing them. But why wouldn’t they stay in the beginning of the maze. Well eventually the maze doors open and Grievers come in and try to kill everyone. But a little group breaks off from the main group to go escape and hopefully go back to their regular life.

Cat: Part Two

“The Prince!” I said. “When am I to meet him?” I asked, desperately hoping for any signs from the king to show that the Prince had genuine interest in me. “You must enter the west wing of the temple where the rest of the suitresses have been gathered.” said the king, gesturing to a room where much commotion could be heard from. “But my king, I can not just simply leave my post for so long-” I said before being cut off by the king. “Are you suggesting you would rather ignore a request from your king?!” he said, his voice forcing my head into a deep bow. “No my king” I said, accepting the risk I had no choice but to take. The king sent me into the west wing with an escort who directed me to the back of a busy crowd of cats. All of whom were of much higher status and much better groomed than I was. Sat in the back of this ostentatious crowd, my irritation levels reached a high as the room parts like a sea for what I could only assume to be one of the most promising suitresses. Her sleek, light-colored fur, contrasting with her darker paws, ears and face, all of which were outshone by her piercing blue eyes. Chatter fell through the crowd, allowing me to catch her name. Bell In this moment, looking at Bell and myself, I realized that my invitation was not the same as the one that everyone had received. Everyone here was of a high social status and had clearly had the time to get groomed and ready for this event. However, I was pulled here during my shift, with no preparation, placed in the back of the room. Why did I even get an invitation in the first place? My thoughts were interrupted by the cheers prompted by the prince’s arrival in front of the crowd. “Ladies, ladies. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I can’t possibly get to know you all if you all try to talk over each other.” he said, matching the crowd’s irritatingly ostentatious energy. “Now let me begin by introducing-” the smug prince said before my attention was turned away by a far off sound, terrifyingly familiar. “Dogs!” I screamed, interrupting the crowd. “Flee, all of you! I will hold them off-” I said before the crowd erupted into cowardly screams as they fled the temple, with the king being one of the quickest to flee. I prepared myself as the wall behind me cracked with the impact of the dogs attacks upon the temple. I leapt back, trying to figure out a way out of this where I ended victorious. However, with just myself against a whole pack, there were few chances of success that I could envision. “So, what’s the plan?” Bell said behind me, breaking me out of my self-defeating stupor. I turned around, shocked to find both Bell and Prince Bamboo at the ready, behind me to help fend off this pack. Before I had the chance to protest this alliance and endangerment of the prince, the pack broke through into the temple and my warrior instincts kicked in. I rushed forward, my eyes darting around the temple to see that the damages to the temple walls had led to the roof being on the verge of caving in. Taking advantage of this fact, I developed a plan. “Back off, Bell! You need to let me do my work!” I said as I slashed the throat of the leading dog, prompting the rest to chase after me, as I directed them right under the weak roof. Slashing towards them, I looked upward to realize that the roof had not taken enough damage to make my plan possible. “Great plan, Cat! Prince, we’ll need you to help you further destroy the temple!” Bell shouted, infuriating me that she saw through my plan so well. “Oh dear, I never thought today would end so smashingly!” Prince Bamboo shouted, smiling at his own corny joke, as he rammed into the weakest points of the wall to try to knock the roof down. However, this left me holding off the pack on my own, which was a tall task, even for me. This difficulty reached its peak as I fell too deep into my offense, as a dog’s jaw rushed for my throat. I had accepted my fate, when the dog’s movements were halted by a pair of claws digging into its throat, as Bell’s piercing blue eyes looked into me. “You better be more careful, Cat! You’re far too strong to die to some mutt!” she shouted, providing a surprisingly impressive amount of backup, as she managed some excently performed dodges and blocks to protect the both of us, while I matched the packs offenses. As we wove around each other, almost in sync, we both heard a snap, followed by a proud “a-ha!” from the prince. I closed my eyes and allowed my instincts to take over as I dodged through the debris as the roof fell atop the pack, killing them. However, as I basked in the defeated mutts, I heard a gasp of pain as I looked over to see Prince Bamboo quite injured from some rogue debris. “It’s going to be ok, prince. I managed to push you out of the way of being completely crushed. I should be able to heal you just stay still.” Bell said, as a faint aura around her glowed and the wounds of Prince Bamboo began to close. “What are you doing?” I asked Bell, fascinated by the power she was displaying. “My family had me learn how to harness my internal power into various abilities, including healing” she said, so matter-of-factly. As we all recovered from the battle, the Prince looked towards both of us and said, “I guess this leaves you two as the only suitresses I’d like to court. Though there isn’t much of a court left to do so in.” I looked towards my new rival, Bell, knowing that I had a long and difficult battle ahead if I wanted to win the corny prince’s affections over the perfect Bell. I know it has been a while since part one, but if this post gets rated as helpful 10 times, I will continue into part three in the Divergent review section.

Great time

The maze runner by james dashner truly deserves its title as a new york times bestseller. The book starts with a cold opening where we meet Thomas who only remembers his name. We then learn about the glade and maze with Thomas where his arrival kickstarts an odd series of events. The characters in this book feel real and their dialogue seems like genuine teenagers talking to one another. The action in this book is unmatched where we feel the tension and stress on the characters as the reader. But what truly makes it special is the book keeps everything mysterious and we only learn as much as Thomas which allows the reader to formulate their questions and theories without revealing them too much. This book is a great read 9/10 would recommend

A very good book

This is a really good book. I was supposed to read this for a school assignment, and ended up reading it in my free time. I loved the book so much that I decided to also go read the next book in the series (The Scorch Trials). So far, I like this book, and I am liking the next book in the series, so I 100% agree with the New York Times Bestselling series award.
