Wonderful

One of my best friends had recommended the Folk of Air series to me as a way to help me get back into reading, and it was a phenomenal series to do so. Jude and Cardan quickly became some of my favorite characters in media in recent times. Highly recommend!

6/5 Holy craaap this book was soooo good. I’m obsessed. The ending left me gobsmacked and I’m just in awe. The way the characters interact and develop is amazing. I couldn’t put it down

This is a good and slightly unpredictable continuation of the Folk of the Air series. The tale of Jude and her time in the High King’s court, and the things she did while there; or the things done to her; follow a fascinating story arch. I was able to get lost in the story unfolding and was surprised by the last few events that took place. Ready to start book 3!

AMAZING!!!

After being in a reading slump for some time I decided to pick up The Cruel Prince and OMG I could not put it down! The Wicked King made me love (and hate) the characters and faerie even more! Jude and Cardan have my entire heart and seeing their story unfold was amazing . The plot twist at the end absolutely blew my mind I had to run to buy the third book. The Wicked King was definitely my favorite out of the three books I absolutely loved it!! This book is definitely in my top 3 books! If you liked these books i strongly recommend The Arc of a Scythe by Neal Schusterman they have similar themes and romance!

Jude is the heroine we all need

I’m sure at this point you’ve read a million and one reviews on this book so I’ll keep it brief. • I’m obsessed with Jude, she’s so badass. • *High King* Cardan has grown on me and I can give you zero logical reasons as to why I love him. • That ending plot twist though • The enemies to lovers tension is on point I’m 100% enthralled with this world and these characters. The story is fast paced to the point that I had such a hard time putting it down!
