Not for the faint of heart

I bought this Tom Ford Champaca Absolute because the popular tropical flower, champaka. People talked a lots about the scent and that got me curious. This was a blind buy and I was in for a surprise. The scent is very strong, use only one spray, you’ve been warned :) l am a big fan of Tom Ford perfume so I still keep it but I rarely reach for it though.

I’ve tried like half of Tom Ford scents and this one is consistently my fav. Too bad they discontinued it, just a couple of bottles left on eBay

Not for me

I’ve tried to get into Tom Ford fragrances but I haven’t found one I liked yet. This one reminded me of powder, flowers, and cigarettes. I returned it.

Beautifully Different

I went to Bloomingdale’s and tested some of the available Tom Ford fragrances. I had this one on my wishlist so when I finally got a chance to try it, I was ecstatic. It was love at first sniff! Nothing like I’ve smelled before and not close to any of the fragrances that I already owned. Perfect blend of floral, cognac, and wood notes.

Champaca Absolute is Liquid Confidence

I absolutely love this well rounded fragrance it fits so well with my body chemistry. I have always favored citrus scents like Versace Eu Fraiché or Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue colognes. But I couldn’t resist this fragrance filled with familiar notes of cognac, orchid, violet, jasmine, vanilla, amber and sandalwood amongst other scents which make up this wonderful journey of your olfactory senses. And of course the Champaca Magnolia from which the fragrance derives its name from is amazing too. This is by far my favorite of Tom Ford’s private collection. The scent is not overpowering like other TF colognes but slowly manifests itself into a very sexy and bold fragrance for hours. You don’t need but one spritz to last for hours. So the price was not bad considering it’s potency. This beautifully complex floral fragrance empowers one to take charge and let others admire the scent of your confident presence . The Tom Ford bottles are classy and have a very exclusive appeal about it to top it off.

delicious aroma

I treated myself to this scent after too many years of not having it. Even being shuttered during the pandemic - the parfume makes me feel good.

I love this fragrance so much, they have a wide selection of fragrance, but out of them less than five work compliment. This one smells the most grown up, but not too overpowering. Sadly I got it as a sample and when I seen the price, i list couldn't find a reason to buy it.

I received this perfume as a birthday gift and fell in loce with it immediately. I having been wearing this for years only on special occassions.
