Beautiful pencils, beautiful colors, very much enjoy using them.
Love the wide range of colors especially the very pale ones!!!!
I absolutely love the Irojiten Colored Pencils. They are very hard, not soft at all like prismacolor. This makes layering quite tricky, but blending seamless. I have colored in quite a few pictures with these and these are my favs for coloring in books.
I would recommend these for anyone who enjoys using colored pencils. I got these in hopes of being able to better shade my drawings, and these pencils do blend nicely! The colors are all very vibrant and beautiful in the rain forest dictionary, and are perfect for my needs. The only downside that I have found with them is the price; it is a little more expensive than my budget would like it to be! I gave them a four star because of this.
Going through this library the big surprises were "Sallow" and "Wax Yellow". Seriously? Yes! Woodlands is a special palette of stories, fables, mysteries, children's dreams. As always, I'll remind everyone Irojiten is may favorite color pencil for creating deeply sonorous colors from optically mixed layers. Write your dreams in a journal. Illustrate them with the Woodlands library.
You could think of birds of paradise, toucans, jaguars, cedar waxwings, bold graphical abstracts, if you can think of it, this set will help you paint it, with pencils. Irojiten pencils really make deeply satisfying optical mixes of layered color. Ranging from the dark jungle floor, colors of shadow and silence to the streets of Shanghai or Manhattan, colors of imagined worlds, this library of colors meets the need.
The seascape library is wonderful for projects with low key colors in the "bright" shades like yellow and pinks. The palette is complex and fits a wide range of applications. Of course the pencils are just dreamy. They lay color down beautifully and are my favorite brand for building optical mixes of hatched layers. Five to seven pencils are a robust palette. I love Irojiten colored pencils.
The colors are beautiful but I haven’t done any drawing yet
