I own these boots in multiple colors and absolutely love them. The leather is thick and sturdy, so they provide excellent support. The more you wear them and break them in, the softer and more comfortable they become. The ankles a ever so slightly large for the calf size but they need to be able to fit a range of sizes. As for the calf size, they are well sized. I have huge calves for years or weightlifting turned flab so for many years I could not find boots with wide enough calves that I could zip them up. Well, this pair was a style was a game changer. I know some commented on them not being wide calf but they truely are. I am thinking they might need the extra wide calf, considering these are wider than many brands. Who knows. All I know is these are cute, comfortable, and stylish. Love them!

These are extremely narrow for wide calf. On the foot, ankle and calf and I dont have that big of calves....

Beautiful boots, very comfortable in the foot and calf BUT too tall. They went up to my knee and they dug into the back of my knee, so sadly I had to return them. For reference, I'm 5'2.
