I'm no expert around the kitchen and I have just started building up my pot and pan and cutlery sets. This is a nice beginning addition. I would have been nice to have some bigger knives, but I would probably have to buy a larger set.

What did I do without this???

I'm no Julia Child but I've always enjoyed cooking. Over the years I've accumulated several non-stick pots and pans, and a few enamel ones as well, that I didn't want to use metal utensils on. For years I had only been using a couple of plastic utensils I had, then I saw this set. It was on sale for a ridiculous price so I bought one. I already had a set of knives that I use regularly but I'm starting to use some of the knives also. The big thing for me is the nylon utensils. I honestly believe I've used at least one or two of them every day since I got this set. They're just all the basics you need to do about anything. It's a great-looking set, it's easy to clean, and a pleasure to use. I'm not sure how I cooked this long without it (I guess in stainless steel pots only!). I would recommend this set to anyone, from the beginner to the advanced cook. It gives me so much more versatility with the pots and pans I already have, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I should admit that I'm like a kid in a candy store in Macy's Housewares!

very nice knives they stay sharp and the utensils on the side are so helpful. I got this set for my sister, because i had gotten myself the set earlier this year.
