Beautiful boot, but sizing is off

These boots are so nice and the leather is so soft. They would get a 5 star if it were not for Trotter's sizing. I wear a medium width but find that I always have to buy a wide in Trotters. Can't understand it as this is the only brand that seems to do this for me. I forgot and ordered a medium width so I have to return them. Unfortunately, Macy's is out of stock on the wide. Otherwise, these are really nice boots. It's hard to find navy, especially in leather.
