Like everyone else, my only issue with these plates is that they DO chip easily. My husband and I selected this pattern for casual dining on our registry. While we love the plates (and so does the company we've had), we've already had a few chips! But they are gorgeous. I especially love the mugs!!!

I love the flair and design of these dishes,but I am having trouble with chipping edges of dinner and salad plates...too fragile if you have children...we are two retired adults.
Chips easily
I absolutely love these dishes. I have 2 square dinner plates on my wall as well as 6 placesettings for my family, however, they chips so easily....very dissapointing.
Love the pattern BUT.... Chips too easily
I loved this pattern and put these on my registry for my wedding. The plates are deeper in the middle which is great for pasta and vegetables. I am very happy with the mugs – they are great for a coffee and I get tons of compliments! My husband really likes how big the plates and bowls are. BUT like many have said – they chip easily!! So my husband and I only use 2 plates and 2 saucers. We only use the other ones when we have company b/c the 2 my husband use all the time have multiple chips on them! :(

This is a beautiful set , much less of a busy print than the others with Mediterranean themes. However, I had a hard time finding open stock, especially mugs and plates, to supplement the 4 place settings I purchased, Only one of the seven Macy's stores in the area had the mugs. I would suggest you but all the pieces you want at one time. I have washed it in the dishwasher countless times - no chips.
decent but chips easily
These are really cute dishes, I get compliments on them all the time because I have them in my glass cupboard in my kitchen, however, you have to be EXTRA careful loading them into the dishwahser and putting away because as others have said, they chip easily. The mugs are very sturdy and nice for a big cup of joe!
beautiful dishes
i have been looking at these dishes since macys got them in, they are beautiful dishes. they have a nice deep center in the plates, great for pasta dishes. and the coffee mugs are wonderful. i am so happy that i finally decided to buy these dishes. and the fact that they were on sale also helped ALOT. so far no chips either.

These plates are very good to add to any kitchen for your casual dinning. They have beautiful colors and they are very practical for everyday use. They are durable and last!
