I had to reorder two gourmet plates, as they break very easily. One tap on my porcelain sink and crack. I have been lucky with all of the other pieces. Maybe because the gourmet plate is really large?

I purchased many pieces of Mariefleur pink. They are very nicely finished. I enjoy the large gourmet plate. I also use it as an underplate or charger. The sale prices allowed me to purchase more pieces for a low price. Yes, very pleased.

Figuresk8r is absolutely right, this dinnerware is simply beautiful! I do not have the complete set but have acquired three mugs and basic place setting pieces (dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, cups and saucers) through the years and every piece is a work of art. The pattern reminds me of the flower gardens and wild roses that grew in the yard of my childhood home.
