Over the holidays I bought sets of the New Cottage dinnerware. I am very happy with the 'creamy' feel of the plates and dishes. They are light weight and substantial at the same time. The oval shape of the rice bowl is fun and comfortable to hold. It doesn't stack well in the dishwasher but will probably fare better over the years being set individually in the racks.

Beautiful bowl, nice shape, very useful. Deep, easy to handle. Soups, rice or salads - you basically can use for anything (mid-size portion). Very happy with this purchase.

If you can't find this bowl anymore, it's the same one now listed in the Villeroy & Boch "For Me" style. Wish they would have spelled this out. I bought 4 of these, one was broken, and Macy's didn't have them anymore. After lots of hunting, I found what I thought was the same one in "For Me" style, and it's exactly the same. Glad to know I can continue to expand my set.

Perfect size and unique oval form! Q Great quality. I'm almost complete my entire collection.
