Love the mugs, but these were advertised as 16 oz, the are just over 14. Sounds silly, but I wanted to replace a mess of heavy mugs with these to match the 8 I already have in the smaller size, but they are the same. Back they go. Love the mugs though!
It might be it in the description and a miss on my part but the shape of these cups are oval or oblong. Sorry not completely sure what the difference are but these cups are definitely not round. It was a little odd to look at first but I really like the feel and lightness of the cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can’t tell from the photos but this mug is oval which seemed weird at first but it is the most perfect morning mug! Great comfortable handle, super thin durable porcelain, it may have ruined all others for me!
The capacity is nice and large, the porcelain keeps beverages hot and the handle is comfortable. I would prefer a round cross section rather than an oval one.
