Long and lean. Vince Camuto's Karita tall riding boots feature a tall shaft made of trendy mixed materials.
Love the boots but you have to allow extra time to get them on. They are very hard to get on. once on they are comfortable. They do pool at the ankle . Not a real tight fitting boot on the legs.
I had been searching for a nice, simple black boot. This is exactly what I was looking for. No frills, just a solid boot I can wear with anything. Other boots I tried were too big in the calf but this one fits perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.
I like these boots but, i wear a size 6.5 and i had to squeeze my feet in these. there's little to no space and I'm afraid they won't fit by next year. I'm thinking off sizing up but after breaking them in they feel ok. These are not for wide calf people, best for skinny legs. Stylish can dress up or down, not really over the knee.
I wanted to like these but it didn’t work out... good quality however the fit is weird. I have average maybe slightly smaller than average and calf’s and these boots were not tight, I did not like the fit. Around the ankles was very slouchy, looked weird... will be returning.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boot is great until the ankle. Really pretty OTK calf style. Nice job blending neoprene and Leather, sometimes I find, actually many times something goes wrong when blending fabrics. Not at all in this case. The leather is very very soft, sturdy, and very pretty. Great fit, super comfortable Up until the ankle. The ankle is far to narrow for a flat shaped foot style. They run large and narrow. Makes my feet look like boat ores. I think with this style calf the heel must be higher or somehow change to foot shape in order to keep the feminine style going, vs ending at the ankle. The sleek look of the calf and OTK made my leg look very long and sleek vs screwed on wooden Pinocchio feet. I'm going to recommend the boot because it is very well made. There are some great features. In terms of esthetics, well that's just my opinion, not for me. Then there is the size issue, still not bad enough to bash the boot, however.
I commute and walk everywhere. These boots are fashionable, comfortable and durable. I wish they had arch support and the dye didn’t wear onto my white pants though.
i was so excited when i finally got these boots... i put them on and they went on fairly easily for such long boots without zippers and came off even easier. they looked really nice with the squarish toe and when i walked around the house with them, they felt pretty good. i was so looking forward to wearing them, i went shopping wearing them that same day. alas, to my consternation, there was no arch support and the more i walked, the more my feet felt as if they were encased in a vice grip. i really wanted these boots to work since i'd been waiting and debating whether to get them: i got them for a good sale price. the reviews recommended sizing up but the size is not the problem. if i'd sized up, my feet would've looked like i was wearing a boat; wayyyy too big. my usual 8.5 even looked too large for me and i had plenty of room in the toe area. they are just way too narrow. maybe if i somehow stretched them, they'd work. but as is, they are just taking up a lot of room in my shoe rack. so sad.....
