Side panel still goes underarm which is what I needed to avoid.

Comfortable bra

This is a very good bra. It fits well and minimizes in the back and underarm area. It has the strap adjustments conveniently located on the front so it's easy to adjust the straps. I like that there are no underwires. Very comfortable bra.
