I really hate to write this review because I LOVE our Riedel wine glasses. We received red and white wine glasses as wedding gifts last August, and they are beautiful glasses that really are wonderful vessels for wine. HOWEVER, three of our glasses have broken and we've not been married for a year yet. None of them were dropped dramatically--they were all slight chips or dishwasher runs that resulted in dramatic glass shattering. Very disappointing.
These are great stemless wine glasses. While I am certainly against the norm, I use the Pinot Noir glasses for reds, and I purchased the cabernet/merlot glasses for whites. Regardless of which glasses you get they are my fav and are very classy.
I like these glasses alot. Theyre much less stuffy looking then stem glasses. I also have champgne glasses like this but theyre very tipsy, these arent.
These are some of the best wine glasses I have ever had the privilege to use. The aroma and taste from these glasses is exceptional, you can really tell the difference. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys wine.
fun, not too difficult to clean. Don't have to worry about breaking stems!
I dropped a riedel with a stem, all broke but the actual bowl portion of the glass. Great in the dishwasher, bad on the floor. Since the bowl remained unbroken I decided on the O glass. Post later if I drop it! I love them all!
Our guests always love these Reidel O glasses at our parties. They are very classy, but more modern and understated. Also, we have put ours in the dishwasher countless times and they are gorgeous!
My husband and I just recieved several of the O collection glasses for wedding gifts and we love them. It is great to drink out of great quality glasses and the flavor of the wine is enhanced too. You can't go wrong with these. A must for anyone who loves wine.
