Meet Pastor
Pastor, 7, has been bravely fighting leukemia since last year, but even the most courageous kids have soft spots for Santa Claus. That’s where Macy's has come in—we joined Make-A-Wish to help turn Pastor's wish to meet jolly St. Nick into a memory he'll cherish for a long time.
At a "Christmas in July" celebration inside Macy's Downtown Sacramento this summer, Pastor found out that his wish comes true in November.
We made sure Santa took some time off from his North Pole workshop to surprise Pastor in his California hometown with a winter wonderland experience that included reindeer, a sleigh & snow at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center. Plus, Pastor even capped the day eating hamburgers, one of his favorite foods, with Mr. Claus himself.
