the perfect fit
When all is said and done, fit matters. A dress shirt that looks tailored-made not only appears professional, but it also streamlines and polishes your overall look. Here are easy tips on how to measure for an accurate fit.

neck
Measure around your neck, just above the collarbone and right below the Adam's apple. Don’t pull too tightly, as you should be able to move your head side to side. Place a finger in between the measuring tape and your neck to make sure you’ve got the proper fit. This measures your collar size.

sleeves
Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow. Continue down to your wrist bone, all while keeping your arm slightly bent to give some flexibility in the length. This measures your sleeve length. Most sleeves have two buttons at the cuff. When the inner one is buttoned, this creates a looser, longer cuff. When the outer one is used, a tighter cuff is made, creating a shorter sleeve.
