What perfume or cologne is best for me?
Take our Fragrance Finder quiz to find out! It creates unique recommendations pulling from a large database of perfumes and colognes. The quiz takes into account several factors which include: fragrances you already like, your preferred scent family, how you'd like your fragrance to make you feel, and whether you prefer a feminine or masculine scent.
How do you categorize fragrances?
Fragrances are typically classified as perfume or cologne. The difference being the concentration of essential oils. Colognes typically have lower concentrations, while perfumes have higher concentrations. Masculine fragrances tend to work well with the typically sharp and musky body odor of males. Feminine fragrances tend to work well with the typically soft and ambery body odor of females.
How do you identify fragrances?
Each perfume or cologne is made up of a unique blend of different individual scents, that are further divided into the notes of the fragrance. These are top notes, middle (heart) notes, and base (bottom) notes. When you wear a cologne or perfume the scent changes as time passes. Top notes fade first leaving the middle notes, and then base notes to linger.
