To apply online:

1. Visit the Macy’s Credit Card application page and select Apply Now.
2. Complete all required fields on the application.
3. Review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
4. Submit your application.

When you apply, you will automatically be considered for both:

• The Macy’s Credit Card
• The Macy’s American Express® Card

If you are approved for both cards, you will be able to choose which card you would like to receive.

Credit decisions are usually immediate, but in some cases may take up to 7–10 business days to process.

Once approved, you can begin shopping:

• In a Macy’s store near you

You may also be eligible to enjoy your new account discount upon approval.

Your physical Macy’s Card should arrive within 7–10 business days after your account is opened.

Yes. When your card arrives, it may include exclusive offers that can often be used right away.

Activation instructions will be included with your card when it arrives.

Your card color is based on your Star Rewards status:

• Silver and Gold members receive red cards
• Platinum members receive platinum‑colored cards

Yes. Once you make Qualifying Purchases and are upgraded to Platinum Status, you will be issued a platinum‑colored card.
