Additional Fee Details

A $10 shipping surcharge applies to domestic orders shipped to locations outside the contiguous United States, including:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Puerto Rico
  • Guam
  • American Samoa
  • Micronesia
  • Marshall Islands
  • Northern Mariana Islands
  • Palau
  • U.S. Virgin Islands

In addition, certain oversized or heavy items may include a surcharge regardless of shipping destination. Any applicable surcharge will be shown during checkout.

Macy’s collects sales tax in locations where it is legally required. Here’s how sales tax is calculated and applied:

  • Sales tax is based on state and local tax laws at the shipping destination.
  • Taxes shown at checkout are estimated and may differ from the final amount.
  • Your final tax total is confirmed when your order ships.
  • Some states tax delivery charges and gift wrap.
  • If your order ships in multiple packages, sales tax may be split across shipments.
  • For in‑store orders, sales tax is based on the store location where the order is placed.

If your state qualifies for a sales tax exemption, this will be reflected in your order when applicable.

Some Macy’s store locations are required by local law to charge a nominal bag fee for merchandise bags provided at checkout for in‑store or pickup orders. To avoid this fee, you’re welcome to bring your own reusable bag or tote.
