How do I request a Price Adjustment?
Did the merchandise you just bought go on sale? We would be more than happy to help you.
Price Adjustment Policy

 

If an item is further reduced in price within 10 days of the order date, Macy’s will price match on our advertised price.

 

  • The new sale price cannot be honored in addition to any previously applied promo codes or discount offers.
  • You will be refunded the difference in price to your original form of payment.
  • Items shipped and sold directly by our Digital Third Party Sellers or Direct from Vendor partners are not eligible for price adjustments.
  • Note: Due to customer privacy and security concerns, Macy's does not accept price adjustment requests submitted via applications or third parties. Only requests submitted directly by a customer will be accepted.

 

 

How to Request a Price Adjustment

If you purchased your item online:

  • Please chat with us to request a price adjustment. A "Chat Online" link is located at the bottom of this page. The chat link is visible 9a-12a EST (holiday exceptions may apply).

  • Call us at 1-800-289-6229, Monday - Sunday, 8am - 10pm ET (holiday exceptions may apply).
  • Please have your order number and the item(s) to adjust ready.

 

If you purchased your item in a store:

  • If your purchase was made in-store and you're requesting a price adjustment, you'll need to visit a local Macy's store for the refund. This ensures that the adjustment can be processed correctly.
  • We recommend bringing your receipt with you to make the process as smooth as possible.

How to Request a Price Adjustment for Furniture or Mattress Orders

For Furniture and Mattress Sales Price Adjustments please chat with us to request a price adjustment. A "Chat Online" link is located at the bottom of this page. The chat link is visible Monday - Sunday, 8am - 10pm ET (holiday exceptions may apply).

To qualify for a sale price adjustment, the sale price adjustment needs to be submitted NO LATER than 10 days:

  • White Glove, In-Home, & Room of Choice - 10 days from date of delivery for your purchase
  • Parcel from Warehouse - 10 days from date shipped from the warehouse for your purchase
  • Parcel from Vendor - 10 days from date shipped from the vendor for your purchase

 

Please have your salescheck number and items to adjust ready.
