How to Manage My Macy's Credit Card

Managing Your Bill

You can make a payment online through your macys.com account.

 

How to pay online:

  1. Select My Account and sign in.
  2. Select Macy’s Credit Card.
  3. Select the Make A Payment
  4. Choose your payment amount, payment date, and payment source, then select the continue button.
  5. Review your information and select Authorize..

 

Important notes:

  • Payments may take up to 3 days to appear on your account.
  •  Debit cards are not accepted for online payments.

 

Do I have to provide my banking information each time I pay online?

No. Once you schedule your first payment, your payment source is saved and available for future payments. You may add up to five payment sources, including checking and savings accounts.

  • You may schedule more than one payment per day, but not from the same bank account on the same day.
  • You can edit a scheduled payment up until 11:59 PM ET the day before it’s scheduled.
  • Payments can be scheduled for an amount up to your current balance.
  • You may schedule up to 5 online payments per billing cycle.

How to Enroll in AutoPay:

AutoPay lets you schedule automatic payments on your due date for an amount you choose.

  1. Sign in and select Macy’s Credit Card.
  2. Select Enroll in AutoPay.
  3. Add your bank account and routing number if prompted.

Note: Debit cards cannot be used for AutoPay.

 

How to Edit or Cancel a Payment

 

  1. Sign in and select Macy’s Credit Card.
  2. Select Manage AutoPay below the Make a Payment section.
  3. View Upcoming Payments, then expand a payment to edit or delete it.

Pay at the At Your Service counter using:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Debit card
  • Money order

  • Promotional financing offers deferred interest for a limited time.
  • If the promotional balance is not paid in full by the end date, deferred interest will be added.
  • Promotions cannot be extended.

 

To avoid interest:

  • Pay more than the minimum payment to pay off the balance before the promotion ends.

 

Payment allocation rules:

  • Extra payments usually go to higher interest rate balances first, unless you contact us.
  • If you want extra payments applied to a promotional balance, call the number on the back of your card.
  • Extra payments made in the last 2 billing cycles (or last 3, depending on expiration timing) before a promotion ends will be applied to the promotional balance first.

  • A $30 fee may be charged for a returned payment.
  • If another returned payment occurs within 6 billing cycles, the fee increases to $41.
  • Fees will not exceed the amount allowed by law.

Managing Your Card

  • Sign in to My Account.
  • Select Add My Card under Macy’s Credit Card.
  • Enter the required information and select Add Card.
  • Set up security questions.

You can request an increase online, in the Macy’s app, or by phone.

 

Information you’ll need:

  • Annual income
  • Residential status
  • Monthly rent or mortgage amount

 

Online (Computer)

  • Sign in and select Macy’s Credit Card.
  • Select Request a Credit Limit Increase.
  • Enter the required information and submit.

 

Macy’s App

  • Sign in and select Macy’s CardCredit Summary.
  • Select Show More.
  • Under Credit Limit, select Request Increase.

 

By Phone

  • Monday–Sunday, 8am–10pm ET
  • If a joint account holder is under 21, the primary account holder must provide consent.

Add an Authorized Buyer (Online)

  1. Sign in and select Macy’s Credit Card.
  2. Select Add Authorized User.
  3. Complete the form and submit.

 

Remove or Edit an Authorized Buyer

  1. Sign in and select Macy’s Credit Card.
  2. Select Add or Remove a Card.
  3. Choose Edit or Remove next to the user.
  4. Save your changes.

If you see an error stating your information doesn’t match records:

  • Enter your name exactly as shown on your statement or card.
  • Multiple failed attempts may result in a 24‑hour lockout.

You can update the name on your Macy’s Credit Card or Macy’s American Express® Card in one of the following ways:

 

Option 1: Send a Secure Message

  1. Select My Account and sign in using your email address and password
  2. Choose Credit Summary under the Macy’s Credit Card section
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Send Secure Message
  4. Follow the prompts to request a name change

 

Option 2: Contact Customer Service by Phone

Call 1‑888‑257‑6757 (TTY: 711) during business hours:
Monday – Sunday, 8:00am – 10:00pm ET

 

Note: In some cases, you may be required to provide legal documentation (such as a marriage certificate or court order) to complete your name change request.

Statements & Account Activity

To view your payment history online, your Macy’s Credit Card or Macy’s American Express® Card must be added to your macys.com profile.

 

Steps to View Your Payment History

  1. Select My Account and sign in using your email address and password.
  2. Under Macy’s Credit Card, select the Other Options link.
  3. Select Payments within the Macy’s Credit Card section.
  4. View your payment history.

Steps to View Recent Transactions

  1. Select My Account and sign in using your email address and password.
  2. Select the Credit Summary link under Macy’s Credit Card.
  3. Scroll down to the Account Activity section.

 

In the Account Activity section, you can review:

  • Recent purchases
  • Posted payments
  • Returns made since your last statement
