Macy’s Pay is an app‑exclusive feature for Macy’s Credit Cardholders that lets you pay quickly in store using a single‑use barcode generated in the Macy’s app. No physical card or cash is needed.

To use Macy’s Pay, you must:

• Have a Macy’s Credit Card
• Have the Macy’s app installed
• Add your Macy’s Credit Card to your Macy’s App Wallet

If you don’t have a Macy’s Credit Card, you can apply online here. 

Follow these steps to get started:

1. Download the Macy’s app
   Sign in to your Macy’s account or create an account.

2. Add your Macy’s Card to your Wallet
   You’ll find your Wallet on the Account page in the toolbar at the bottom of the app.

3. Register for Macy’s Pay and verify your card
   Follow the prompts to confirm your card security code (CVV). This step only needs to be completed once.

4. Pay in store using your barcode
   A unique, single‑use barcode will be generated each time you use Macy’s Pay. A Store Colleague will scan it at the register.

    

Heads‑up: After your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation with any Star Rewards points earned. Push notifications must be enabled to receive this message.

To verify your card:

1. Sign in to your Macy’s account in the Macy’s app.
2. Add your Macy’s Credit Card to your App Wallet (if it’s not already there).
3. If you have more than one Macy’s Card, select the card you want to use.
4. Enter your card’s security code (CVV):
   • 3‑digit code on the back of a Macy’s Credit Card
   • 4‑digit code on the front of a Macy’s American Express® Card
5. Enter the one‑time authentication code sent to the contact method on file.
6. Once verified, your card is ready to use with Macy’s Pay.

Macy’s Pay can be linked to one Macy’s Credit Card.
